Alternative licensing is available to a military member, military spouse, or military veteran who applies for an administrator's license and: (1) Is licensed in good standing by another state that has licensing requirements substantially equivalent to the requirements for a license under this chapter as determined by Child Care Regulation (CCR) under §745.8914 of this subchapter (relating to Determining Whether Another State's Licensing Requirements Are Substantially Equivalent to the Requirements in This Subchapter); or (2) Held an administrator's license in Texas within the last five years.
